With Swami Kashi, Molly Birkholm & Earle Birney

Dates:  June 1-7, 2018
Location: Dao House Retreat Centre
Estes Park, Colorado
Rocky Mountain National Park

Retreat Description
Immerse yourself in a deep meditation and yoga retreat with three special teachers amidst the gorgeous backdrop of Rocky Mountain National Park.  We will explore meditation from a variety of perspectives, giving you opportunities to explore consciousness through both philosophy and deep practice. There will be opportunities for fine-tuning your practice with the personal guidance of our teachers, as well as time for your own self-inquiry.  Learn more about Non-Dualism/ Vedanta and Buddhist philosophy to strengthen your understanding of the roots of these teachings, including discussion on the Bhagavad Gita, Vijnana Bhairav, and Kamalashila’s Stages of Meditation.  There will be daily yoga classes, silent meditation, breathing practices, mantra, and iRest yoga nidra practices.  We will also have time each day to hike, horseback ride, enjoy outdoor adventures, or relax in the spa.

2 Days of Silence:  Silence is a very powerful tool for diving deeper into practice.  As well as keeping silence throughout parts of each day, in the middle of the retreat we will maintain two days of complete silence.  During this time, all teachers and participants will remain in silence outside of the class context.  We will have a short time on these days available for Q&A.  And of course, on the other days will have plenty of talking!

Retreat Leaders

Learn from three long-term teachers and practitioners who love to meditate, have been friends for years, and who also love to have fun!  Joining us from his ashram in the Himalayas is Swami Kashi who is a long-term philosophy teacher, a Sanskrit scholar, and a master of the great texts of yoga and Vedanta.  Swamiji leads many retreats worldwide.  Earle spent more than a decade living and studying at a Tibetan Buddhist monastery, an experience that culminated with a 3 year, 3 month, 3 day silent retreat.  Molly is a creator and innovator - having co-founded Warriors at Ease and now hosts a timely and contemporary Women’s Empowerment Initiative through Yoga International.  Molly is also an iRest Yoga Nidra teacher trainer and advocate for human trafficking relief.

Join us for this unforgettable experience!  Please sign up early, as last year Molly & Swami Kashi’s retreat had a 40 person waiting list.
